In a little over a month my post about email obfuscation techniques has started to show some results.
On Jan 11th I posted a page with some unique email addresses listed. 3 were obfuscated using various methods and the 4th was the control.
Yesterday the first email came through to the control email from a French web development company. This, rather amusingly, started off by stating: “This is not SPAM ! To unsubscribe, click here”.
The second email arrived today with an offer to take over the resources ($3.5million) for some terminally ill oil barron.
Nothing so far for the obfuscated emails…
