Raindrop.io all-in-one bookmark manager

Raindrop.io — All-in-one bookmark manager is a bookmark manager that has been my bookmark manager for a couple of years now.

I have a number of different profiles across different browsers (mostly, almost exclusively, Edge) and devices and I wanted a place to keep bookmarks and always seemed to have the bookmark on the profile that I wasn’t currently in. I tend to have a few favorites in the browser bar (you know, Office, Azure – the usuals) on the browser profile but otherwise I save everything in Raindrop which syncs across all my devices.

The free subscription does most everything you could need – you can compare the free and paid version on their pricing page.

I forget now why I started paying but it has some great premium features:

  • Search through the entire content of every bookmark, PDF and EPUB you’ve saved, making it extremely easy to find what you’re looking for. It’s like having your personal Google.
  • Create forever copies of your saved items with Permanent Library so you can always return to them.
  • Add reminders and notifications to your bookmarks
  • Annotate your highlights
  • Keep your bookmarks clean: find broken and duplicate links.
  • Upload 10 Gb files each month.
  • Automatic backups of your data. Never worry about accidentally deleting any of your collections, bookmarks, tags, or highlights.

I’m not even using all the features at the moment but it’s just a great tool that I use to simplify my life.

Try it out. You might just find the free version is just what you are looking for!

How do you manage bookmarks? What are your favorite productivity tools?
